Eight novices made their first profession of vow on Sunday October 22nd, 2006, World Mission Sunday. During the same ceremony, the IVE novices received their habit, the black cassock, and a group of IVE seminarians made their first vows.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was celebrated by Fr. Gustavo Nieto, IVE Provincial Father, at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. The following eight novices made their first profession of religious vows:

• Sr. Mary Pearl of Virgins
• Sr. Maria Espejo de Paciencia
• Sr. Maria de la Revelacíon
• Sr. Mary Mother of Light
• Sr. Maria de Talpa
• Sr. Mary Our Lady of OstraBrama
• Sr. María Panagía
