June 18, she travels to meet with the Holy Father to convince him to return
to Rome. |

September 13, she again convinces the Pope to go forward with his trip. |

January 17, she succeeds in bringing about the return of Pope Gregory XI to
Rome. |
Travels
to reconcile the powerful Salimbeni family. |
She
is sent by the Pope to Florence to negotiate peace which was granted and
signed on July 18. |
On
March 23, Pope Gregory XI dies. |
Urban
IV becomes Pope, the beginning of the Western Schism. |
In
October she writes Dialogue of Divine Providence. |
On
November 28, she arrives at Rome by summons of the Holy Father. |
February:
she becomes sick to the point of remaning prostrated by the weight of the
"Vessel of the Church" under her shoulders. |
She
